Important notice

The firmware cannot be reverted to the Console REST API V1 version after the updating to the Console REST API V2 version.

Note about Console REST API V2

• Edge device firmware cannot be reverted to Console REST API V1 version once the edge device is updated with the Console REST API V2 version of the edge device firmware.

• Use of “SW Provisioning” in Scenario Hub is recommended over “Devices” under Resource management when deploying edge application and AI models.

• Please refer to this information for an overview and migration guide.

Migrate from Console REST API V1 device firmware to Console REST API V2 device firmware

⚠️ Important notice

  • Device firmware cannot be reverted to the Console REST API V1 version after updating to the Console REST API V2 version.
  • Console REST API V1 (Console V1) and Console REST API V2 (Console V2) are not compatible.
  • Update the device firmware to the latest Console REST API V1/Console V1 version before applying this update.
  • This update changes the edge device MAC address.
    • 1st Octet bit1 from 1 (locally administered) to 0 (globally unique).
    • 6th Octet bit1 from 0 to 1.
    • e.g. ab:cd:ef:03:02:01 becomes a9:cd:ef:03:02:03
    • If your network uses MAC address filtering for the edge devices, update the settings after the firmware update.

Angle Adjustment Tool

The Angle Adjustment Tool (AAT) is a web-based application designed to streamline the adjustment and verification of the camera angles for devices connected to AITRIOS.

Operators/installers can adjust the camera angle in the actual facilities with their smartphones, while administrators can verify the camera angle remotely, on their PC.
