Known Issues

1. Updating the edge device firmware fails

Deployment status shows "Error" for the edge device on the Deployment page in Local Edition, and the firmware fails to update.

If updating the edge device firmware fails, try the following procedure:

Select "Deploy" again to retry.
If step 1 fails, then unplug and then plug in the power supply for the edge device to restart the device, and then select "Deploy" again to retry the firmware update.
If step 2 fails, then do a factory reset to the edge device. See section "A.2. Factory Reset" in the startup guide for your edge device:
